Woodbrook Dogs - a working partnership in unison between Josh and Debbie Theobald.
Josh Theobald having over 30 years of gundog and working dog experience across the the whole of the UK.
History and Future
Josh trained his first Springer Spaniel at the age of 14 years old and never looked back.Things moved swiftly along as he became a Gamekeeper and working dogs became the tools of his trade. Josh then met his partner Debbie (now wife) and continued to train and breed Gundogs for his work. His passion for training and working dogs has since continued to this day gaining over 30 years of experience.Having relocated back to our roots on the Devon and Cornwall border we have diversified into producing not only working gundogs but also well bred, intelligent, trainable family companions and pets.The health, trainability and temperament is paramount to any litters that we produce and early/continued socialisation we feel is of huge importance to obtaining a well rounded enjoyable companion.We now own and breed Cocker Spaniels, Labradors, Springer Spaniels, German Wirehaired Pointers and Wirehaired Dachshunds.
Certification
We are council licenced breeders and all our dogs are health tested before ever entering our breeding program.All our stud dogs have relevant health tests and are regularly semen tested.We are conveniently placed on the Devon and Cornwall border only five minutes away from the A30 just outside of Launceston town. Having bought Leburnick Kennels and Cattery in 2020 we have since invested in building brand new facilities to incorporate Woodybrook Dogs.
These include separate adult kennels and purpose built whelping units and play areas. Everything is setup to provide the best in socialisation for both puppies and adults. All within sight and close proximity of the family home.
